    • Never heard it before, but boy is it good 🙂 I love me some good electropop.
      Other votes:
Chiisana over Nornir (This was hard, but I still get goosebumps when the dango theme comes on)
Sakamichi over Ringo (YUKI rocks too much here)
Yamato over NHK (This was hard, the NHK song was very good, I really do like it a lot. Those lazy wails do it for me. But I caved with the Yamato song being there since I was young.)

  2. nornir’s vocalist is meh and lost voice control unintentionally at some parts and the shift up from the piano opening then shift down into a “day at the amusement park” style after the “na na na” portion doesn’t really flow into each other, making it sound like appending different tunes together. Entire song sounds overly long.

Chiisana Tenohira’s vocalist is better. Overall the song is simple and short. Would have been better without the acoustic effect. Also the shift into the first chorus is kind of abrupt emotively. Overall its still better than nornir

Ringo Mogire Beam is noisy with very bad vocalists, though that was deliberate especially the cutesy ones, it still helps nothing. The addition of that small portion where they sang normally does nothing to improve it either.

Sakamichi no Melody’s vocals don’t really match the song nor is the melody particularly distinctive but the opponent sucks more.

Uragiri no Yuuyake is average, Sign of Love uses a tune that remainds me of the 80s but is too clean to be an actual 80s song. The vocalist carries it off enough that it sounds better than its opponent.

Uchuu Senkan Yamato is mediocre. Hitori Bocchi’s vocalist is bleh and the song isn’t a simple one, losing a lot if the other instruments were absent. The ending where the vocal stops and the actual end is also too long. Still its more interesting than its opponent.

  4. My votes go to:
Nornir – Not everyone likes Etsuko Yakushimaru’s style of singing but I thought she made this song interesting in her own way.
Sakamichi no Melody – This is one of those Yuki songs that I find to be catchy and not annoying to listen to. It is such a great opener for the anime which made it memorable for me. Ringo Mogire Beam! on the other hand, I guess it’s trying to be funny but doesn’t really do it for me.
Sign of Love – It just managed to edge out Uragiri because I feel a little sentimental.
Hitori Bocchi – I like the wailing music a bit more over Yamato’s patriotic anthem.
